both pictures are misleading as fuck from the op to the reply pic and has a false title meant to sensationalize a story using the incredibly troubling problems between the dominican rep. and haiti. there’s really no need to use fake pics to make your point there are plenty of real incidents of dominicans exhibiting antiblack violence on haitians that aren’t made up stories like this one. if you go to the source it leads to a CNN ireport article which itself sources a washington post article that has now been removed (probs cus it’s fake). so I checked the comments and saw a vid of a Cachica network video posted on youtube that covered the incident down to the misinformation on the internet (that ya’ll are now spreading for notes) and literally even the guy tied up on the tree explained this wasn’t about him being haitian. in the video provided above you get (in spanish) witnesses and even his account of what happened and everyone from his neighborhood spoke highly of him saying he’s a hard working guy that just sells metals and other stuff he can get money off to have food for his fams but that one time he got caught taking stuff from a cemetery which is a huge no for any one no matter who. in dominican culture the very act of stealing will get you in huuuuge trouble, I remember when I was like 7 I stole some moneyfor candy and 1 of my aunts found out and scared me out of stealing by putting my hand by a fire saying if I steal again she’s gonna burn em for real (she wasn’t for real but still, that’s some sick ass emotional abuse shit right there). just watch the video and let the man ya’ll are using say it for himself; this was not an antiblack incident. yes there is an extremely antiblack sentiment in many dominicans and it’s shameful and needs to be worked on as soon as now but you don’t need to use fake shit to make that point.
the reason miley was banned is no reason to really applaud ourselves as a dominicans either because it was largely based on the same old male sexist rhetoric and not out of some black solidarity to cast out miley for her antiblack sins. they just did it because they didn’t want to promote her “sexual freedom” which they couched as “not agreeing with her morals” as the article reports.

tbh if you shit on people who go to community college youre gross and i dont like you

tbh doing this is very classist & ableist as shit

not everyone has the money, time or energy to go to four-year college

the current academic system is straight up harmful and toxic esp if you have any kind of disability and (in my experience at least) community colleges can be way more flexible and accommodating to student’s needs

If someone were to forcibly enter a woman’s house without her consent no one would go up to her and say “maybe if your house didn’t look so expensive this wouldn’t have happened, you should make it look less wealthy” so why is that if someone forcibly enters a woman without her consent they say “if you didn’t dress like a slut this wouldn’t have happened, you should dress more modestly”?

why doesn’t this have more notes

VIVA LA PLUTO MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!

DO YOU SEE THIS? DO YOU? ALL OF YOU WHO HAD WRITTEN OFF PLUTO, WHO HAD CROSSED IT OFF YOUR PLANET LIST? REMEMBER HOW IT WAS ‘TOO SMALL” TO BE A PLANET? HOW NASA, IN COLLABORATION WITH THE INTERNATIONAL ASTRONOMICAL UNION REMOVED ITS PLANETARY STATUS AND  CHANGED ITS NAME TO 134340? HOW EVERYONE THEN CONSIDERED THERE TO BE EIGHT PLANETS, NOT NINE?

BUT SOME OF US REMAINED LOYAL TO PLUTO. IT WAS NEVER FORGOTTEN. AND NOW HERE WE ARE, AND JUSTICE IS UPON US AFTER 8 YEARS.

BECAUSE GUESS WHAT? PLUTO HAS AT LEAST FIVE MOONS, A PRETTY BIG NUMBER FOR A ”DWARF-PLANET”, HUH? ESPECIALLY WHEN EARTH, QUITE BIGGER THAN PLUTO AND AN OFFICIAL PLANET ONLY HAS ONE. AND GUESS WHAT ELSE? ERIS, THE PLANET WHICH EVERYONE THOUGHT TO BE BIGGER THAN PLUTO, MAY NOT BE BIGGER AFTER ALL. AND THE BEST PART IS THAT PLUTO HAS AN ATMOSHPERE. THAT’S RIGHT, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, A SUPPOSEDLY NON-PLANET HAS AN ATMOSPHERE. AGAIN, ISN’T THAT IMPRESSIVE?

SO LOOK AT THIS. NEW FINDINGS, AND A NEW AGE FOR PLUTO. AN AGE OF RECOGNITION AND APPRECIATION. AND ALLOW ME TO CLOSE THIS -somewhat aggressive-PRESENTATION OF OPINION WITH THE MOTTO OF THE PLUTO APOLOGISTS: VIVA LA PLUTO!

I ALWAYS BELIEVED IN YOU PLUTO!
